Conversations with Jimmy
Welcome to what will become a website focused on Jimmy Wyble’s legacy and his final recording and collaboration. We hope to have this site become another place to offer information about Jimmy’s music and life, share stories, and feature educational materials and new film clips.
From February 2008 until his passing in January 2010, Jimmy collaborated with pianist and composer Scott Hiltzik on an album that features Jimmy’s masterful guitar playing and compositions. At Jimmy’s request many pieces were arranged for piano. The album also features music that was influenced by Jimmy and some excerpts of spoken conversations. The video below provides an introduction to Jimmy and the project.
The three of us have been working on, and are dedicated to, ensuring that Jimmy’s final legacy is presented in a way that reflects the integrity and gentle humility he personified.
